I started this blog a few months ago and haven't gotten around to posting any pictures or recipes. I wanted to take a quick moment to post a few pictures of the things I've been up to these past few months.
When my cousin asked if I could make her a cake for her Quince, I couldn't say no. After looking through tons of pictures and getting ideas this is the design we came up with.
This consisted of a vanilla cake with strawberry cream cheese filling and cream cheese frosting.
2- My little brothers 19th Birthday Cake
Sure- he isn't so little (he's actually WAY taller than me) but he's still my little brother and I wanted to make him a special cake for his birthday. He loves (LOVES!) soccer and his favorite player is Xavi from the Madrid Team. I decided to recreate his Xavi jersey in cake form. He was thrilled when he saw it!
This was a vanilla-chocolate chip cake with chocolate fudge frosting.
3- Logan's Birthday Cake
This cake was made last year but it was my first "real" fondant cake (the previous fondant cake I made was really just practice and stayed at home).
This was a chocolate/vanilla marble cake with chocolate frosting. Cocoa Puffs were used to reseamble dog food.
